[Closed to Alec] Safe
Peter hopes Alec is asleep.
He knows already that it's unlikely. Alec always seems to be awake. The one time Peter's caught him sleeping in the entire time they've lived together is the one night when Alec had that nightmare. And if that was any indication of a normal night for him, Peter could hardly fault him for not sleeping.
Peter slowly opens the door to their suite of rooms, then looks around very slowly. When he determines the area is vacated, he takes one quiet step forward, then another, and then another.
Alec's nowhere to be seen.
And with a sigh of relief, Peter Parker immediately flops back onto his bed. Safe.
